Indian Lake Outfitters partnered with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio to celebrate Earth Day at the Girl Scout's Camp Myeerah last Saturday. We teamed up with the Insurance Goddess, Carrie Reynolds, of Alan Galvez Insurance to educate the young girls on the importance of "Cache In - Trash Out" with litter pick-up and geocaching.
Geocaching, coined in 2000, combines location-based gaming, social networking, treasure hunting, GPS navigation and outdoor recreation. With more than 1.4 million geocaches hidden and 4 million users worldwide, geocaching continues to grow in popularity across the United States and here locally in Logan County.
